The Venezuelan influencer Sascha Fitness is the daughter-in-law of Waldo Ordoñez Matheus, who is the financier of her business. Waldo is a contractor for public institutions and has done business with both the Chavismo and the opposition. His son, Andrés Ordoñez Matos, is Sascha Fitness’s husband.
Waldo Ordoñez has a relationship with Eduardo Álvarez, former president of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee and ex-Minister of Sports. Together, they made “profitable business” during the 2007 Copa América in stadium construction. He also owns a company called Pavimentadora Onica, which signed a contract this year with the municipality of Alberto Adriana (El Vigia) in the state of Mérida to pave the streets.
A Breached Contract and Waldo Ordoñez’s Connection with PDVSA
The contract that Waldo Ordoñez signed with the El Vigía municipality did not specify the cost or duration. Mayor Lisandro Segura of Acción Democrática is pictured with Waldo Ordoñez on the municipality’s website announcing the contract on February 27 of this year, according to www.abcnoticias.net.
However, months later, on April 3, the mayor had to explain on his radio program “Conversando con Lisandro” that the repaving plan was paused because PDVSA had not supplied asphalt cement to Onica. The mayor stated that Waldo Ordoñez told him that “PDVSA would be responding in the coming days.”
Unanswered Questions about Sascha Fitness
Sascha Fitness has refused to address the situation regarding her father-in-law and his connection with PDVSA. She has also declined to respond to the published evidence indicating that her father-in-law has several unpaid lawsuits in the TSJ (Evidence 1, Evidence 2, Evidence 3, and Evidence 4). She has not commented on the farmers expelled from their lands in El Vigía by her father-in-law, nor on the rigged races at the Santa Rita racetrack in the 90s involving Waldo Ordoñez and his stud “Lalo.” Additionally, she has not addressed the continuation of this manipulation now with her godson and ward, Potro Álvarez.

Sascha Fitness has only focused on distracting the public with a well-funded communications campaign and giving money to her followers. However, this cannot conceal the connections with her father-in-law’s corruption and the dubious origins of the wealth that supports her empire.
