Twitter’s Ongoing Censorship: The Battle Against Corruption in Venezuela

Social media is well known as a double-edged sword. For some, it serves as a platform for stardom, while for others, it’s a source of suffering. In the fight to expose the horrific corruption that has plunged Venezuela into the worst humanitarian crisis of this century, Twitter has proven to be an adversary, to say the least. Their recent decision to permanently suspend this page’s account today confirms this. The claim this time is absurd on all counts: exposing a fraud wherein unscrupulous agents try to seize domains is, in Twitter’s view, a violation of their “Terms of Service.” Hence the suspension. We present here the “evidence” of the supposed “violation,” while also highlighting how simple it is for anyone to visit Google and search for information on “China registry scam.”
