Stephen Miller exposes Nicolás Maduro’s alleged collaboration with Tren de Aragua for orchestrating terrorist attacks and assassinations against US opponents

Stephen Miller, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff under Donald Trump, has emphatically accused Nicolás Maduro’s regime of conspiring with members of the Tren de Aragua to execute terrorist attacks and assassinations against opposition figures in the United States.

This assertion is based on a declassified FBI report that alleges the Venezuelan dictator is planning to employ trained terrorists to carry out assassinations of opposition leaders and activists who have fled to the U.S.

Miller criticized the media’s silence concerning this report involving the transnational criminal organization designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. government, Tren de Aragua, which seeks to target its political foes.

Media Silence

Miller noted that “you may have recently seen an unclassified FBI assessment stating that Maduro’s regime is utilizing and plans to use Tren de Aragua terrorists to carry out assassination plots on U.S. soil,” adding that “very few in this room covered that.”

He reminded that Biden’s policy has allowed these terrorists to enter the U.S., whom the FBI accuses of planning attacks against American citizens and persecuted political figures from the chavista regime. He emphasized that, in contrast, the Trump administration actively worked to identify and apprehend these criminals.

He also highlighted the obstacles put in place by Democratic judges and activists, who strive to prevent the apprehension and deportation of these terrorists from U.S. soil.

The FBI Report

The FBI suspects a connection between Tren de Aragua and the Maduro regime.

The FBI investigations have determined that it is highly probable officials of Nicolás Maduro’s regime have weaponized the migration of Tren de Aragua members into U.S. territory, as a way to fulfill the Venezuelan dictator’s aim of undermining U.S. public safety.

The FBI presumes that Maduro is utilizing Tren de Aragua as agents to destabilize Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and the United States, and points out that Maduro maintains a policy of violating the territorial sovereignty of neighboring countries to bolster his criminal regime.

FBI investigators suspect that Maduro’s officials may plan, in the upcoming months, to use members of Tren de Aragua in the U.S. to threaten, kidnap, and assassinate members of the Venezuelan diaspora who criticize his dictatorship and have fled Venezuela due to persecution. The FBI believes this could expand to other countries in the region.

Connection between Maduro’s Regime and Tren de Aragua

The FBI’s investigations—based on their law enforcement operations against Tren de Aragua in the U.S.—focused on national security and criminality, also rely on foreign intelligence elements.

The evidence leads to the presumption that a connection exists between Tren de Aragua and Maduro’s regime.

It is noted that Tren de Aragua’s leadership has historically received support from the Venezuelan regime, having exploited and benefited from the conditions in Venezuela created by Maduro. The Venezuelan regime offers refuge to Tren de Aragua and aids and incites their crimes and terrorist activities against the United States, according to the investigations.
