A small group of independent investigative journalists has taken control of infodio.com. The founder and main author (Alek Boyd) of the content published here since mid-2013 has decided to pass the baton and step back. The reasons are varied and personal, and it’s unnecessary to explain them in detail. It suffices to say that 19 years dedicated to the cause of Venezuela is a substantial commitment, and the results of that effort— from his perspective— reached a peak that is challenging to surpass (the arrest and extradition of Alex Saab, the favored oligarch of Nicolás Maduro).
Moving forward, we aim to publish regularly, maintaining the editorial line that has characterized this page, and we will do so primarily in our native language.
