The truth is that chavismo has no intention of behaving like a democratic governing party. Just hours into the new year, the propaganda minister @DrodriguezMinci published a list of individuals who supposedly traveled—allegedly outside the country—during the Christmas and New Year holidays. As if traveling were a crime. In Cuba, where the “government model” that the traitorous and submissive administration of Nicolás Maduro wishes to impose is in place, traveling is indeed a crime. Without the permission of the dictatorial Castro regime, no one can travel outside of Cuba. And no one can move around freely within Cuba.
All movements of Cubans, from every city, are closely monitored by the well-known Committees for the Defense of the Revolution. Woe to those who venture out to sea on rafts and other floating devices to escape the curse of living under communism. But Venezuela, according to chavismo, is the most democratic country in the world, right? Traveling is not a crime in any democracy, but since it bothers the resentful Delcy so much (as if she forgot her brother Jorge’s trips to Bariloche, Italy, and the Empire to live it up at Smartmatic’s expense), here are some photos for her to add to her list of targets. Unlike those on the initial list, these individuals have stolen fortunes thanks to the regime she represents, which looks negatively on “double standards,” and not only do they spend time abroad but also waste their ill-gotten gains overseas.
