I must admit that I’ve been a bit slow on some developments lately. However, after reading this morning’s news about whether Chávez claimed that the earthquake in Haiti was caused by some “seismic weapon” operated by the U.S. Navy, I decided to dig a little deeper to clarify who said what.
The Venezuelan führer did not claim that the earthquake in Haiti was caused by the United States or its “seismic weapons.” However, five propaganda outlets of the Chávez regime published articles containing information about the so-called “experimental earthquake,” allegedly caused by the U.S. according to “Russian sources,” see below. Therefore, I believe that the reports stating Chávez made such claims, while not exactly accurate, can be forgiven in light of the content published by the Venezuelan “information” media.
