Leocenis Garcia Reveals Corruption List in PDVSA Case Amid Maduro’s Ongoing Investigations

According to Leocenis García, while Maduro’s government arrests high-ranking Chavista officials in the context of anti-corruption operations, “the duo Bazzoni and Moundraus have a loaded ship in Venezuela called Gent.”

The opposition politician Leocenis García denounced that Nicolás Maduro’s government “puts at risk” the dialogue in Mexico due to disagreements over the handling of three billion dollars by the UN, the same amount that went “missing” in Pdvsa, for which the head of the National Superintendency of Cryptocurrency and Related Activities (Sunacrip), Joselit Ramírez, is held responsible.

“The government has jeopardized the dialogue in Mexico that would bring a democratic route. All of this is over a fund of three billion dollars that the UN would manage. However, this amount went ‘missing’ in Pdvsa, in the hands of one person, more ships disappearing in international waters,” wrote the journalist.

In a Twitter thread, García provided details about the disappearance of this vessel and the alleged motives and those responsible.

“Eight months ago, the FortOne disappeared, whose real name is Nikel. It was renamed, and is now called ORBIT I. In the operation, one million barrels of fuel oil went missing, and the Venezuelans Manuel Tineo and Antonio Calatrava were aboard,” he said.

“The FortOne, just like Netflix, was supposed to ‘return’ the product, out of specifications, and during the transport from port, the shipowner began to deviate towards international waters. Though they do not show up, the real owners are Alejandro Bazzoni (sanctioned by the U.S.) and George Moundreaus,” he wrote.

According to Leocenis García, while Maduro’s government arrests high-profile Chavista officials in the context of the Anti-Corruption Operation, “the duo Bazzoni and Moundraus have a loaded ship in Venezuela called Gent (false name).”

New Detainees According to Leocenis

The former political prisoner asserted that, in addition to those already detained, there are 20 more ‘businessmen’ and operators connected to Maduro’s government who will also be part of this government operation.

“In addition to the public list of detainees, more than 20 ‘businessmen’ and operators linked to the government who looted Pdvsa, under the protection of various clans, are being added,” he stated.

In this regard, he confirmed that the following people are being sought by the political police:

  • Alejandro Arroyo.
  • Luis Nahin
  • Alejandro Londoño
  • Daniel David Uzcategui Specht
  • Rogers Ramirez Donante.
  • Juan Manuel Afonso Lopez (El Morocho).
  • Manuel Afonso Lopez (Morocho).
  • Manuel Enrrique Meneses.
  • Rafael Guillermo Perdomo.
  • Kristhonfer Argenis Barrios Vivas.
  • Roger Perdomo Rodríguez.

García claimed that “the looting” happening in Pdvsa is allowed and “under the pretext of seeking alternatives to evade sanctions.”

“The government demonstrates its lack of commitment to the normalization of the country. Progressing in a dialogue will allow for regularizing the opacity issue that currently surrounds Pdvsa, which permits this looting under the excuse of searching for ‘alternatives’ to circumvent sanctions,” he said.

“Many things remain pending, for example, why was PetroZamora handed over to whom it was given? Why is the owner of Seguros Universitas now an oil operator and provider of CLAP boxes? In Venezuela, there is hunger not because food is lacking but because there is an excess of immorality. What happens in the country, with PDVSA as a mirror, is vile, petty, miserable, and despicable, producing nothing but indignation and frustration,” he added.

He concluded his denunciation by asserting that “the unveiled corrupt practices cast a general shadow of suspicion over the actions of all politicians in the Government, even those who sign that morality pamphlet published yesterday by the national leadership of Psuv.”
