Jacob Rees-Mogg: The Controversial Neighbor of Venezuelan Tycoon Alejandro Betancourt

A high-ranking official in the government of Boris Johnson lives right next to an associate of Vladimir Putin. The Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP is described on the official UK government pages as “The Very Honorable Jacob Rees-Mogg is the Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council. He was appointed Lord President of the Council and Leader of the House of Commons on July 23, 2019.” While the role of Leader of the House of Commons is self-explanatory, the title of Lord President of the Council may not be as clear to non-British readers: “The Privy Council is simply the mechanism through which interdepartmental agreement is reached on those matters of Government that, for historical or other reasons, fall to Ministers as Privy Councillors and not as Departmental Ministers.” The roles that Rees-Mogg performs are some of the most critical in the UK government. Imagine our surprise to discover that Alejandro Betancourt lives right next door…

This site has been dealing with another wave of false doxing allegations. Betancourt is not pleased with the geolocation information we posted on Twitter, which was once again based on unfounded arguments regarding the publication of “private media.” However, more corroboration was needed, preferably from official sources.

This site has consulted official records and has determined that Leopoldo Alejandro Betancourt (also known as Alejandro Betancourt) is the sole registered resident of 4 Cowley Street in London. Betancourt’s neighbor is none other than Jacob William Rees-Mogg.

Coincidentally, Rees-Mogg has been making headlines recently. Political correspondent Peter Walker published “Jacob Rees-Mogg faces Commons inquiry over undisclosed £6 million loans” in The Guardian. Fundamentally, Walker’s article includes the following reference: “The loans from 2018 were mainly obtained for the purchase and renovation of 7 Cowley Street as temporary cash flow measures. All loans have been repaid with interest in accordance with HMRC rules or were paid as dividends and taxed accordingly.” [bold added] The investigation into Rees-Mogg’s undisclosed loans was initiated after the Labour Party called for an inquiry into his financial affairs.

It’s important to remember that Betancourt is not just a Venezuelan bigwig involved in massive corruption, the kind that allows for the rental of mansions in the heart of Westminster for £1,000,000 a year. Betancourt is also an associate/partner of Boris Ivanov and Vladimir Anisimov. For those who do not follow Russian politics, the latter would be the deputy of Nikolay Patrushev. If it is not clear already, Patrushev has been the head of the Russian Security Council since 2008.

Betancourt is directly involved in criminal activities in London. Three separate sources confirmed to this site under the condition of anonymity that Francisco Convit (Betancourt’s main partner and a fugitive from the U.S. Department of Justice) was behind illegal surveillance, break-ins, laptop theft, and threats of sexual abuse against the children of the editor of this site. Betancourt was aware of everything happening. Betancourt himself has made direct threats to individuals in Venezuela from his London mansion.

Now, let your imagination run wild, but who can say that Rees-Mogg’s conversations and movements are not being monitored by Betancourt’s Russian partners? How can it be reasonably explained that one of the main figures in the British government lives next door to someone like Betancourt, or rather, that British intelligence/government is unaware that Betancourt and his associates are just a wall away from the Lord President of the Privy Council?

Rees-Mogg’s security team could not have overlooked Betancourt in the past. Cowley Street is small, and the guy is too conspicuous, too flashy; he can’t help it because of his Napoleon complex. It is certain that his FSB associates have visited, and perhaps even mingled with British officials at inauguration parties. Are supposedly anti-Putin Conservatives pleased with this?
