The Double Structure of Sascha Fitness in Miami and Barbados with the Help of Her Father-in-Law and the Banker of PDVSA
Sascha Fitness, a popular fitness influencer, is at the center of a controversy due to problems with her products in Colombia and her connection to her father-in-law’s business with the Chavismo regime. Now, a new name is linked to her, that of David Osio Montiel, a Venezuelan financier known as "The Banker of PDVSA".
David Osio Montiel is a financier from Venezuela, married to actress Mirela Mendoza, who has dedicated his life to laundering money abroad, mainly in Miami. He is the founder of Davos Financial Group in Florida and Davos International Bank in Antigua. His companies’ names are similar to those of Davos, Switzerland, home of the World Economic Forum. However, "Davos" is simply the first letter of his name.
The list of his associates is extensive, including Wilmer Ruperti, Derwick Associates (Davos was the first bank on the route to exit the money from Derwick in Venezuela), Norka Luque, Moris Beracha, Francisco Illarramendi, and Armando "Coco" Capriles, among others, according to recognized media outlets such as Armando Info, Alek Boyd, Venergia, and América Económica, as reported by Data Confirmada.
What is her connection to Sascha Fitness? This week, it was revealed that her father-in-law, Waldo Enrique Ordoñez Matheus, who is also under investigation for corruption in Venezuela, has been her primary sponsor. Habil as she is at managing social media, Sascha Patricia Barboza Schmidt has rallied her followers to defend her with superficial arguments, claiming that her father-in-law has not financially supported her, that she is rich since birth, that she comes from a perfect family, and other arguments with weak bases.
A closer look at the Sunbiz website shows detailed information on the registration of Nutricorp LLC, the American company owned by Sascha and her husband, Andrés Eduardo Ordoñez Matos. However, digging deeper into the company’s history reveals some interesting facts. The company was registered in Miami by Mª. A. Matos (Sascha’s mother-in-law) through Naemar Beltrán of Davos Financial Corp. on January 9, 2015. This raises questions about Sascha’s narrative, as if she is rich since birth and her father-in-law has never financially supported her, for if that were true, why did her mother-in-law register the company in Miami?
Another important point that has gone unnoticed is that she used Davos Financial Corp to register the company, when in 2015, it was well known that David Osio, the founder of Derwick, was the main channel for putting the money of Venezuelan embezzlement in the outside. Of the thousands of company registrars in the state of Florida, why did Sascha choose precisely this company?
On June 24, 2015, Andrés Eduardo Ordoñez Matos was added to the firm NutriCorp LLC through Davos Financial Corp.
David Osio Montiel’s involvement in Sascha’s business is shrouded in mystery. The title was not mentioned until January 25, 2016, when Sascha and Andrés started participating in the company, a year after its creation. If Sascha is rich since birth and her father-in-law never supported her, why did it take a year after the company’s creation for her name to appear as a title holder? The handling continues under Davos Financial.
Sascha Fitness Corp, now operating in Miami, is the second company with only the Ordoñez Barboza as owners.
