The president of Fogade, Jesús Caldera Infante, stirs up controversy once again. He is now focusing on the alleged irregularities committed during the asset transfer process by some banks involved in the crisis of 1994 and 1995. Caldera Infante claims that there were bankers who handed over third-party properties to address the issue. Today, in an interview with the Panorama newspaper in Maracaibo, he stated that 95% of those responsible belong to the banks Construcción, Metropolitano, and La Guaira. This means names like Di Mase, Brillembourg, and Mendoza are back in the spotlight. Additionally, Caldera Infante has insisted that public officials who endorsed these operations must also be investigated.
